7 Important Questions You Must Ask Yourself!!

Are you really serious about living an all-round successful life?
No matter your riches, power and influence, a life void of fulfilment is a wasted life. A life of fulfilment is a life of unspeakable joy and indescribable inner peace. Jesus called this kind of  life an 'abundant life'

If you are interested in this kind of life, then you should have asked ( and answer) yourself  a lot of thought- provoking questions. The following are some of these questions.

# 1. Why am I here on earth?  Are you on the face of the earth just to complete the number of living people or do you think, you are on earth just to get education, get a good job, get married, train your children, buy cars, cloths, jewellery, build houses,  etc. is that all life means to you?

Do you know that you can have all of that and still not be fulfilled in life? This means that the reason for your existence is far greater than all of that. You must searched it out.

A life of fulfilment starts with the discovery of the purpose of your existence and the journey or process of that discovery starts with God. God created you and only Him knows the reason why He created you, you must go back to Him to receive the blueprint of your life.

Your purpose is your calling, knowing it will make your life to become simple and peaceful, it will put an end to your wandering to making a living.
We all have unique purpose of existence, meaning that yours might be different from mine. If you want to know your own, enter an intimate relationship with God, your creator, through His Son, Jesus Christ.

# 2. Do I have a dream? What dream have you built around your purpose or calling? How do you want to live out or fulfil that purpose? what do you want to be known for? what legacy do you want to leave behind after your sojourn on earth?

Are you just living life for living sake? this kind of life is characterised by: pursuing everything in search of livelihood and secondly, accepting everything that life throws at you.

A dreamless life is a life that lacks direction. your dream directs you to your purpose. If you want to live a fulfilled life, your must dream and your dream must be in line with your purpose.

# 3. What am I doing about my dreams? It can be very easy to dream about a better and impactful life, one can just lie down and begin to fantasize about a great future, it wont cost a dime, but the real work is in taking the necessary action concerning those dreams, this is where many people throw in the towel.

A life of impact does not come on a platter of gold, it requires a lot of courage and sacrifices. Having beautiful dreams without doing anything about it is called day-dreaming, this will lead you no where.

Procrastination can kill your dreams. You might be very busy with other stuffs at the moment in the bid to make ends meet, but don't forget that your real happiness lies in the fulfilment of your purpose.Do something about your dream each day (no matter how little). this will be giving shape to your dream and serving as a reminder of your purpose.

# 4. Who do people say I am? This question answers your reputation. your reputation is your public name and this is very important, no wonder the bible says, a good name is better than great riches. Even Jesus asked Himself the same question through His disciples.

Your loved ones, friends, neighbours, colleagues etc. which kind of person will they describe you to be?
The way you live your everyday life, through your words and actions in relationship with people, will determine your reputation. Remember, everybody cannot be wrong about you.

# 5. Why do I want to get married? For the single people, this is a very important question we must settle in our heart before thinking of being a guest at the altar.

Do you want to get married simply because people are marrying or just because of the status? Are you contemplating marriage (or already desperate about it) just because age is no longer by your side?

What do you really know about marriage? Understanding the spiritual, emotional, physical and financial demands and implications of marriage, can you really live up to that responsibilities  now?
These are questions you must sincerely answer yourself if you want to have a successful married life.

From the experiences around me, I have discovered that marriage is not always a bed of roses. It requires a lot of tolerant and sacrifices to sustain it and so, to take that bold step, one has to fully understand the concept behind it. Solders prepare themselves before a battle and not in the course of the battle.

# 6. What kind of person do I want to get married to? The person you maritally unite yourself with is very crucial to the fulfilment of your purpose, so you cant just pick anybody to join you in that journey.

Marrying the wrong person can kill your dream and ultimately side-line your purpose. This will make you live through life unfulfilled, no matter, the wealth that surrounds you.
Before you take the decision of who to marry, you must first know where you are going in life. your purpose should determine the kind of person to marry.

From that perspective, you can then check: does the person have any interest in your calling?  Does  the person have anything to contribute to your purpose? do you also share the person's passion and pursuit in life?
The best and most enjoyable marriage is one in which the couple are walking on the same or at least very similar path in life. in such case, they contribute immensely to each other's fulfilment in life.

The effect of marriage is very powerful, it can either make or mar one's destiny. Many people in their haste to get married by all means has ended up marrying the wrong persons, the result is a life full of frustrations and total regret.

If you are very conscious of your destiny, you will prefer not to marry at all than to marry the wrong person.

# 7.Where do I go from here? Do you still think that everything starts and ends here on earth? Of course, no! life on earth is just a brief passage to an everlasting end. Therefore, we should not allow our selves to be carried away by the things of this world and forget about our ultimate destination.

Believe it or not, there are two ends, Heaven and Hell, waiting for everyone of us and we must choose only one of the two. Heaven is a place of everlasting rest and Hell is a place of everlasting torture. They are both two real places of permanent abode.

We all came from God and we are all supposed to return back to God, that is His desire for all His children but the choice is ours to make.

Maybe this can help you to make your choice if you have not:

Hell is a terrible place to end up (my bible tells me so). You may not wish your worst enemy to end up there talk more of yourself. Heaven is a beautiful place, more beautiful than can ever be imagined, don't forget that, it is the throne of God. As for me, I have decided to end up in heaven, what about you?

The decision to end up in heaven starts with an answer to the call of salvation and subsequently, guarding the salvation jealously. God resides in Heaven and Jesus is the only Way to Heaven.

Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life.
No-one comes to the Father except through me.
(John 14:6)

The question of where you are going from here is the most important question you can ever ask yourself because it will definitely influence the overall kind of life you are going to live here on earth. Choose wisely, like me.
